Geoff is a highly qualified and skilled Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner, who practices acupuncture and Chinese herbal medicine. His qualifications include an Advanced Diploma of Traditional Chinese Medicine and Diploma of Applied Science (Chinese Herbal Medicine).
Geoff also completed a medical internship at the Hangzhou Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Zhejiang, China, including rotations in the departments of acupuncture, internal medicine, infertility, gynaecology, paediatrics, orthopaedics, traumatology, dermatology, cardiology, nephrology and tuina (Chinese massage). During his internship, he had the opportunity to work with several nationally renowned doctors and masters of Chinese medicine, which helped to shape his career.
Geoff was a lecturer at the Perth Academy of Natural Therapies and taught Chinese medicine students acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine and differential diagnosis. He continues to enrich his knowledge and frequently attends seminars and conferences on Chinese medicine, acupuncture, herbal medicine and health.
Geoff has been in private practice for the past 11 years, including establishing two successful clinics in Perth, before joining Remède in 2010 to contribute his expertise to the comprehensive team of wellness practitioners.
Geoff is a full member of the Australian Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association (AACMA) and is registered with all major health funds, enabling his patients to claim private insurance rebates on consultations.
