Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing.
Reiki is a very specific form of energy healing, in which hands are placed just off the body or lightly touching the body.
Reiki (pronounced Ray Key) is a combination of two Japanese words rei and ki meaning universal life energy.
Reiki is an ancient laying-on of hands, healing technique that uses the life force energy to heal, balancing the subtle energies within our bodies.
Reiki addresses physical, emotional, mental and spiritual imbalances. This healing art has an effective delivery system. The Reiki practitioner serves as a vessel that supplies healing energies where they are most needed. Reiki’s ki-energies flow out of the practitioner’s body through the palms of the hands while they are touching or over the recipient’s body.
Because Reiki is an energy it flows into the body along pathways called meridians & will unblock areas of built up emotional energy.
Removing these blockages in the body allows the life force to begin to flow naturally again, thus eliminating aches & pains, nourishing vital organs & allowing the body systems to regulate themselves properly.
Allow an hour to an hour & a half for a Reiki session, with a sessin fee of $65.
It is important to drink plenty of water following a Reiki session.
