Natural Healing – Traditional Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture
TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE
Herbal Medicine is renowned among many cultures for its safety and natural efficacy. Unlike medicines developed in chemical laboratories, herbal medicine involves the use of plants, flowers and elements derived from nature to treat illnesses with minimal short and long term side effects.
Natural Healing offers a variety of herbal treatments, including a herbal formula especially tailored and developed for you after your consultation with our therapist.
ACUPUNCTURE
Under Traditional Chinese Medicine theory, the body is made up of a system of interconnected meridian channels, through which flows our spiritual energy or Chi.
Acupuncture involves the insertion of fine, specialised needles into meridian points to stimulate Chi flow to problem areas within the body. This regulates the harmonious energy balance of the body, consequently restoring health and relieving pain.
Contrary to expectations, the pain level for acupuncture is minimal and patients often report to feeling a pleasant tingling, electric sensation. After treatment, it is quite common for patients to feel calm, relaxed and at peace.
EAR CANDLING
Ear candling is an ancient detoxification method, which involves using a specialised hollow candle to create a vacuum in the ear, drawing out old wax and residues of past infection. It is non invasive and completely painless.
At Natural Healing, Ear candling treatments are combined with complimentary head and face acupressure, to further assist with the cleansing process.
CUPPING
Cupping is an ancient form of treatment in which specialised cups are applied to the skin in order to apply pressure on muscles within the area.
Cupping can target the body up to four inches into the tissue and is known to activate the lymphatic system, repair deep tissue and promote blood circulation.
TAI CHI CLASSES
Tai Chi is an ancient exercise that can be used by anyone to achieve amazing health benefits.
Tai Chi embodies the saying that “prevention is better than cure” and aims to maintain a healthy, balanced body and mind through a series of supple spine exercises, deep regulating movements and serene awareness.
Natural Healing’s Tai Chi classes are held within the tranquil surrounds of Sydney’s Centennial Park and are taught by instructors with over 20 years teaching and practicing experience.
