LifeForce health solutions
Monica Lysiak has been the Principal of this dynamic multidisciplinary practice for over two decades, during which time she has been pleased to witness the expanding interest in complementary therapies. Initially qualifying as a Physiotherapist, Monica soon realised that a simple musculoskeletal approach to healing could frequently be improved upon by combining hands-on therapies such as Physio and Massage with other treatments such as Acupuncture and Naturopathy.
LifeForce health solutions has evolved over the years to accommodate a growing need within the community to consult with holistically-minded, experienced and well-qualified health practitioners and has been offering a unique range of wellness services under the umbrella of a QIP Accredited Physiotherapy practice since 1995.
Our friendly Support Staff will guide you towards the most appropriate treatment for your condition and our professional staff will advise you on how to best manage your health, fitness and wellbeing, while taking into account personal needs and preferences.
Clients report that they love coming to LifeForce health solutions because of the wide range of services offered under the one roof. This is because most people’s lives are complex, each individual having their own unique genetic background and emotional history, combined with less than ideal past and current lifestyle choices, which can influence a body’s ability to recover from trauma and illness.
Our Range of Treatments Includes:
Hands-on Treatment such as Physiotherapy, Remedial Massage or Bowen Therapy aimed at relieving the symptoms of pain and stiffness arising from frustrating or disabling conditions. Alternatively, Acupuncture, Naturopathy or Homoeopathy can address your nutritional requirements and balance your constitution. You may also learn self-management strategies during one-on-one core stability, strengthening and stretching sessions, or simply enjoy the benefits of group exercise classes like Functional Exercise Classes, Pilates, Yoga for Pregnancy & Birth, Yoga for Spinal Health & Wellbeing and Balance & Strength Exercises for Seniors. Other interventions may include GaitScan and Vibro Trainer which can help us achieve the best possible outcomes for our clients. A recently-introduced therapy is Stress Release Therapy which has proven very successful in treating emotional disorders.
Our friendly team comprises male and female practitioners and includes 6 Front Office Support Staff, 5 Physiotherapists, 2 Acupuncturists, 5 Remedial Massage Therapists, a Bowen Therapist, an Aromatherapist, one Naturopaths, one Homoeopath and 5 Group Therapy Instructors. All of our practitioners are fully qualified, are members of their respective professional bodies, and are committed to ongoing professional development.
We have practitioners who have volunteered in the 2000 Sydney Olympics and international sporting events. In fact Jane Fauser, our longest-serving team member (with a 20 year history as a Remedial Therapist at this practice), has volunteered her services in the 2000 Sydney Olympics, the 2001 Australian Elite Track Cycling event in Germany and Belgium, and the 2006 Commonwealth Games and continues to work with elite cyclists’ sporting injuries.
Our Physiotherapists (with a combined 50+ years of experience) have special interests in the areas of spinal manipulation, sports injuries, McKenzie and Muscle Energy Techniques, Dry Needling, Acupuncture, biomechanics, postural rehab and core stability, as well as post injury rehabilitation. In fact three of our physios have their Masters in Orthopaedics, Sports and Manual Physiotherapy, while our Principal Monica Lysiak has a post graduate Certificate in Orthopaedics as well as qualifications in Acupuncture and Naturopathy.
