Acupuncture
Acupuncture is part of Traditional Chinese Medicine, which originated in China over 5,000 years ago. This science and art of healing has become widely accepted over the past 3 decades.
It has now been established as a profession in Australia and has proven to be both an effective and safe treatment of many disorders. These include neurological, cardiovascular system, respiratory system, digestive system, uro-genital system, gynaecological and obstetric disorders, skin, eyes, musculo-skeletal system, sporting injuries and psychological.
Acupuncture is proving to be very beneficial in preparation for IVF and pregnancy management.
The Inclusive Therapy Co. treated the Brisbane Broncos using Acupuncture during seasons 2005-2006.

Oriental Massage (Tui – Nu)
Tui-Na massage, the ancient artform that uses techniques and skills to stimulate the acupuncture points along the meridian channels to increase circulation of Qi, the body’s life force energy. Qi is the prime focus and attention of treatments and has been seen to treat numerous illness and disease throughout China for centuries.
Remedial Massage / Swedish
Remedial Massage can help nervous / respiratory / digestive / lymphatic systems, muscles, ligaments, joints, soft tissue and other conditions. Gentle, yet firm massage to stimulate flow and circulation of body fluids and blood and is beneficial in assisting relaxation and stress management.
Sport / Deep Tissue
Sport and or Deep Tissue massage is important in the recovery from any sporting activities or physical exertion, prevention and treatment of injuries, by way of improving blood circulation, in turn releasing certain hormones, anti-inflammatory, anti-histamines and natural defense mechanisms. These then stimulate the bodies own ability to correct imbalance and ultimately reduce pain. It also aids in relaxing or releasing the body of the daily burdens of tension and aches from stressful living.

About Us
Matt Cook – Clinic Director, Acupuncturist and TCM practitioner.
Matt has been practicing for over fifteen years and after completing advanced full time studies at Guangzi Traditional Chinese Medical University, Nanning in China, opened the clinic in Herston Road. Matt continues to care for his clients in a nurturing, compassionate and holistic manner. Matt has also been very successful in assisting clients with musculoskeletal problems, digestive/ gastrointestinal conditions, fertility, IVF supporting, pregnancy care and inductions. Matt continues to hone his skills frequently attending workshops and conferences nationally and internationally.
Matt is in the Clinic Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Rebecca Burns, Remedial Therapist.
Bec brings her caring and positive attitude to her massage treatments. With a keen interest in health and natural therapies, she takes a holistic approach, incorporating a variety of techniques including Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, sports massage, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, cupping, stretching and joint mobilisation. Bec has an interest in how postural imbalances can affect soft tissue function. She is passionate about helping you to reduce stress, relieve pain, remove headaches, regain movement and have you feeling your best. Bec is currently studying Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture at ACNM Brisbane.
Bec is in the clinic Monday, Friday and the second Saturday of every month.
