KI YOGA
Ki Yoga is a great form of exercise for increasing your strength, flexibility, coordination, and cardiovascular health. Ki Yoga also increases your self-confidence and overall wellbeing. Ki Yoga believes in strength in your hara (belly), laughter and smiles, positive mind and gratitude.
Ki Yoga is a dynamic yoga, which changes with each session to continually bring harmony and support within. Ki Yoga not only stretches and strengthens the physical body but also strengthens the meridians (energy pathways) of the body to improve wellbeing.
The asanas (postures and stretches) are designed to stimulate these various meridian pathways to improve your strength, flexibility, coordination, and cardiovascular health as well as improve your sense of physical confidence and overall wellbeing.
To practice Yoga you don’t need to be flexible and strong. It does not matter what level of fitness you currently have and you can start at any age. In fact, the only pre requisite of Yoga is that you can breathe.
Ki Yoga when done on a regular basis has a healing and corrective benefit. To get results you will need to practice Yoga at least two to three times per week. You will create a strong lower back and belly area so you will feel less stressed and more confident. Yoga can also improve your digestion, blood pressure and circulation along with developing great abs, fantastic legs and a good posture.
Our early morning classes are bright, dynamic and invigorating, reflecting the waking needs of that time of day. Our late morning classes are hard working to develop drive and strength, building both power and flexibility.
When you come in to do a Yoga class wear comfortable loose clothes and bring a towel. Also try to avoid eating about 1-½ hours before a class.
Ki Yoga is suitable for beginner and advanced students.
