Pilates
BEGINNERS Pilates
A basic Pilates class for newcomers to begin with the fundamentals of flowing movement, breathe, mind/body connection, balance, posture, mind/muscle integration and core strength.

GENERAL Pilates
An extension of beginners Pilates but including the 3 different levels from Basic through to Advanced. Participants in this class will have some fitness level and have an understanding of their body, but will always be given the choice to do as little or as much as they feel ready to do in every class.

POWER Pilates
Is a stronger class for those participants who feel ready for more strength, more stretch, more core conditioning. This class will increase the heart rate due to having a more aerobic component. The fundamentals of Pilates are maintained and the choice of participating at 3 levels is also available. There is never a time where a participant needs to feel compelled to do any more than they can on any given day. Pilates fitness potential is reached in your own time.

I have been teaching this class both here and in France for many years and it has become a very popular class as it offers the best of two different philosophies yet same destination. Mind/Body integration.
Apparatus Pilates
The Pilates Apparatus class makes use of the Chi Ball, the Pilates Circle, Stretch bands, small weights and foam roller to add an extra dimension to the mat class. This recruits more muscle, more strength and more concentration, co-ordination and mind/body fitness.
Mums, Bubs & Tots
PRE-NATAL Pilates/Yoga
A safe, nurturing class for Mums to be to help keep or maintain a level of fitness with a rapidly changing body. This class will look at the various stages of pregnancy and modify all exercises accordingly.

MUMS AND BUBS Pilates/Yoga
A class where you can bring your baby without feeling any concern if he/she cries or a need to feed, where everyone is in the same situation. A general level class to help re gain core muscles, posture, strength and flexibility. Babies can be included for some of the exercises and baby massage is an optional extra.
ZUMBA Fitness
The Zumba workout provides fitness benefits because its routines feature interval training sessions with fast and slow rhythms and resistance training, which are intended to tone and sculpt the body while burning fat.

One on One Stott Reformer in The Studio
The Pilates Reformer provides fine tuned exercise resistance that allows the individual to work very precisely to develop perfect alignment, core strength and flexibility. It is difficult to cheat with the Reformer and it is a wonderful one on one tool that can really show body imbalances. After diagnosis a mat based program can really help to rectify these imbalances.
